Hyatt House Indianapolis Downtown

We were in Indianapolis to see Adam Sandler. We'd never stayed at Hyatt House before but I chose it for the location. It is literally a five minute walk to the front entrance of Gainbridge Arena. They have valet parking which I highly recommend. You pull up, they open your door, help you unload and your vehicle is whisked away. When you are ready to leave our vehicle was waiting at the curb before we could ride the elevator down. Our whole weekend was so easy it was amazing. Would not hesitate to go to another event there.

Liked: It's a beautiful hotel. Our room was clean and spacious, with an awesome shower. The staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel had valet parking which I would highly recommend because of the downtown location. I thought the price was very reasonable.
Disliked: Nothing.

Accommodating for the short stay.

Liked: The breakfast was great. The bed was perfect softness. A/C and heat easy to control
Disliked: The elevator signal as to which would indicate the open one were too far apart and not easily visible

Disliked: Cable television did not work half the time, coffee in the lobby was cold and the cream was empty. The faucet in the bathroom had very low water pressure.

Disliked: The cleaning staff left trash in my toilet and did not completely clean the room? Seemed rushed/half done. There was hair on my sink and they semi cleaned the coffee maker but left coffee and a mess, only replaced half my towels, etc.

Disliked: Check in was supposed to be at 3. I arrived at 3:40, with dinner reservations at a fine dining restaurant at 4:30. My mom and I wanted to freshen up after a 1.5 hour drive. The room wasn't ready, so we waited around with our luggage until 4:15!!! We had 5 minutes to freshen up before we made the walk around the block to the restaurant. I told the staff and manager of the situation. I received an apology. Still had to pay $50 for parking. They had their bar right next to the front desk. They didn't offer any complimentary drinks or appetizers while we waited for our room or anything! Very unprofessional. The room had been booked for over a week, and I put i planned on checking in at 3. Several other people were waiting as well. They just kept apologizing to everyone saying no clean towels were the issue.
