Liked: The clerk at 3pm at check in had a rude attitude
Disliked: After paying for the room on booking.com a pay additional occupancy fee charge again. Don’t think that was right

Overall great place!
Liked: Very kind staff and accommodating. The place was very clean. Room service was prompt. We enjoyed having the bigger room with extra space for 4 of us adults. The kitchenette was a huge bonus on this longer stay.
Disliked: The pillows were way too soft. We had a couple broken items in our room that need attention - bathroom faucet plug, for example. The shower took at least 5 mins to get hot water and a very low shower head.

Overbooked hotel with rude managerial...
Liked: My original room that I booked was "reinstated" by the manager after an argument and unnecessary aggravation.
Disliked: When we arrived at the facility for the start of my sisters wedding weekend we were informed by front desk staff that the room I had booked over a year in advance was not available and my room was switched to a double bedroom. I immediately asked that this be rectified and was directed to speak with the manager as it was his decision to change the room. When speaking with the manager I was given an attitude and spoken to very rudely. I have used booking.com several times for hotels and have never run into an issue like this. This facility was overbooks their hotel and cancels and shifts rooms around that were already booked well in advance by their guests. On top of this they had also cancelled my parents room which we also booked through booking.com which caused my sister "the bride" to have to argue with the manager to rectify the situation and get them a room for the 2 days we were staying for the wedding. This hotel and it's staff and manager were not professional at all!! They were completely unapologetic for the inconvenience that they caused and could care less about our experience. I would not stay in this facility ever again!!

A roller-coaster ride that we...
Liked: The cleanliness of the hotel and it's location was in close proximity to our wedding venue. Our dog was also able to accompany us which was wonderful. The suites were also quite spacious.
Disliked: Hotel was severly overbooked and our rooms were inaccurate. Some rooms were even canceled and guests were not notified. My parents had no room for my wedding weekend when we booked these rooms a year in advance. All hotels in the area were also full due to a variety of events occurring so it was unfair to be told to find rooms elsewhere the day we are checking in. These issues held up my wedding rehearsal on the day we were checking in and the manager did not provide a solution until I got physically upset. The lack of urgency in resolving the matter was unexpected and quite unprofessional. Ultimately a solution was reached but as a bride checking in with family and friends for her wedding weekend, it created a very chaotic and uncomfortable beginning to what was supposed to be the best weekend of my life. Also when requesting chairs for our hair and makeup team, I was told that I could carry the chairs myself at 6 am up to the 6th floor on my wedding morning as a 4ft 11in woman, which was outrageous. I sincerely hope in the future that hotels like this that agree to utilize 3rd party booking, do a better job of ensuring that guests have the rooms they booked beforehand to avoid circumstances such as these. I also hope that some employees at this location receive some uptraining in hospitality especially when representing a hotel that wants guests to truly enjoy their stay.
