Liked: The rooms are spacious and elegantly appointed. The public areas are welcoming and staff care to anticipate guest needs in a way many shiny newer hotels have forgotten.

Liked: Room was superb. Extremely comfortable bed and spotless beautifully appointed bathroom with superb facilities, daily spotless towels and exceptional daily service. Could not have been better
Disliked: Restaurant staff lacked any semblance of service, running around very "busily" but achieving nothing and never seeming to see the diners.After pre-booking a luncheon, for 10 persons, to celebrate my mother's 99th birthday & advising prior that young children present would need to be served quickly to prevent restlessness, we waited for over an hour before the children's food appeared.The quality of the food presented for the adults was substandard for such a high class hotel more befitting of a 2 star establishment. The duck dish was inedible.

Liked: I liked the swimming pool and the rooms.
Disliked: I wasn’t too happy about the concierge because they confirmed the extra bed when I made the booking but didn’t bring the bed until we requested again on-site. They also didn’t deliver our luggage to our room after two hours, so we had to go back and bring our luggage ourselves.
