Clean, well-located, pleasant but inconsistent...

Liked: It was clean, bright and conveniently located to sights yet quiet. The rooftop pool is small but warm and enjoyable. The city skyline especially at sunset was lovely.In general, staff is friendly. Parking is a $25 per day, and our vehicle was safe in the underground. We didn’t use valet service.
Disliked: The breakfast buffet was a bit expensive to do daily, so we opted for a la carte items for the adults. We were told our 5 yr old could eat for free for the children’s buffet but then on the last day of our stay we were charged for him. He was free the other days with other servers, then on the last day with a different server, he wasn’t. Confusing.Also, despite ordering the same a la carte menu items most mornings, the portion sizes and contents varied quite a bit, especially the parfait size and toast with fruit. Restaurant Service was either great or short handed, so overall in the restaurant, the challenge was consistency in quantity, cost and service, which shouldn’t be for a restaurant.For such a new hotel, I was surprised in the issues with the elevator not working for arriving guests to bring up their luggage from the parking lot below. Our room was bright, comfortable and clean which was good but there are aspects of design that didn’t really make sense to us. For example, we had a room for 4 people, so we were given four towels for 4 people (so far so good),but then there was only 1 towel hook in the bathroom for one to hang a wet bath towel. Other than that, there was a hand towel rod in there. Unless we were to hang wet towels in the coat closet? Or on the coat/hooks in the foyer?

Pleasant stay in Montreal

Liked: Clean; comfortable; spacious rooms; good replenishment.
Disliked: A little out of the way. Dinner service was rather slow. I would have preferred more/brighter lighting in the room.

Amazing!

Liked: Staff was always friendly and helpful. The room was nice except the temperature that for the first couple of days was not working properly but the staff in charge did an amazing job and was able to fix the thermostat. Food was great particularly during the "HAPPY HOUR"
Disliked: Room temperature, the schedule too short to stay in the 14th floor area at night. It should be extended to 10 or even 11 p.m.

Great hotel with many amenities...

Liked: The rooftop pool was just perfect ! Room was basic and clean . Requested high floor and was granted . Extra towels and later check out was no problem . Walking distance to some attractions and many Resturants . Cafe was on walking distance too. Staff was friendly and door was opened by valet even if not using that service . Housekeeping was very tidy and organized .
Disliked: The people that can see you in the pool from their window.

Exceptional

I will be back next...

Liked: The rooftop pool was so nice to hangout at in the evening and watch the sun go down. The location is also perfect as you’re two blocks away from old Montreal but the hotel is in a quiet area.
Disliked: The rooms are a little tight.
