i did not get the room i booked and found my partner & i in a rabbit hutch. the photos on there add are misleaeding , when using the loo my feet were in the shower tray & my head in the wash basin. £130 per night? never again .!!!

Gret location but beware of...

Liked: The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful - especially with heavy luggage up the staircase. The atmosphere in the bar was warm and welcoming.Location was fantastic.Room was clean and well serviced.
Disliked: I should have read the reviews more carefully. A petit room is just not large enough for two adults with two suitcases- I had to either clamber over my husband or my suitcase to get into bed. the room was small and airless. The bathroom was exceptionally small. Certainly not a room to rest or relax in.

Liked: clean. location. shower.tv.
Disliked: very small room , unable to sit in comfort. no lounge area. no window that could be viewed out or opened in case of fire. no breakfast.By far the most worst is the roar of an extractor system for the restaurant below , that is adjacent to the room and goes on until about 1.30 am

Compact clean nicely decorated rooms...

Liked: The location is great! On one end of Kensington High Street right next to the shops and restaurants. The underground station is only about a 5 minute walk. The rooms are very small but for the price in such a main area of London, I wasn't that bothered. It was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly.
Disliked: I didn't like the shower. It was far too small and being one of these rain shower, it was really difficult to try and keep your hair dry if you didn't want to wash it with very little space either side of the water flow. Plus, if you want to shave your legs and keep your hair dry at the same time, good luck.The other thing I didn't;t like was that there was a 'service charge' invoice put under my door on the last morning. I hadn't bought anything from the hotel and I have never seen this before. However the doorman was really nice and when I questioned it, he didn't hesitate to waive it.

Liked: Great location, clean and convenient place. Comfortable bed and nice staff. They offered us complimentary drinks.
Disliked: The elevator starts at first floor so you will have to use the stairs. They added a “discretional” service fee to the bill without telling us in advance, while this is quite normal in London we would have preferred to be informed.
