Disappointing

Very good

Liked: Great location, beautiful building. Good for a quick stay in the center.
Disliked: Small room, but sufficient if you are aware. Same as others have said, not a lot of fresh air because windows dont open.

Disliked: the room was heavily hot even when outside was 10°, was difficult to sleep there

Disliked: Our room was not cleaned for three days. The fan and ventilation were poor.

Basic hotel considering the price...

Liked: The location was excellent, only 10 minute walk to Victoria station, yet was away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. Street noise was kept to a minimum considering it is located in the city. It is far enough away from any bars to not have this type of noise, yet close to all public transport links. Staff were friendly, and the luggage store was secure. Staff allowed us to store luggage before check in and after check out free of charge.
Disliked: Rooms are not quite as pictured. Room was very small, with no room to actually open a suitcase comfortably, however this is to be expected for a city centre hotel. We found ourselves having to repack our case each time we used it as there was nowhere to store it open. The double bed was also very small, and pillows very thin. The room was very hot, almost unbearable at times - London was experiencing a heatwave at the time - however even though the window was open, there was little to no airflow throughout the room. At times it felt it was cooler outside than inside the room. A fan was provided in the room upon check in which was appreciated and used a lot for comfort! Overall, the room was clean, but not spotless and areas could definitely use some TLC. Breakfast was disappointing, breakfast consisted of typical continental style - cereals, fruits, pastries, toast, yoghurts, cold meats, juices etc - but was noted that nothing had been refrigerated in a while. The milk for cereals was room temperature, and also the yoghurts and cold meats, making us wary of becoming ill if ingesting this as breakfast began at 7, and this was only 8.30/9am making us think that the foods had been out longer than an hour or two. No hot food available but that did not bother us. The hotel would benefit greatly from a small refrigerator in the breakfast area.

Liked: Location was great. Hotel was easy to find. Bed was comfortable. Quiet area.
Disliked: I think it was very overpriced, the room was not worth what we paid. Room was VERY hot, definitely needs a fan or air conditioning. Wouldn't stay again unless the rooms were cooler.
