Escape to the country in...

Liked: Perfect setting, in the centre of beautiful village, our room had lovely views across to the church. Elegant room, lots of character, with shower rather than bath. Fab staff (hello Geordie Claire!) and cocktails, above-average bistro-type food.
Disliked: Can’t think of anything!

Liked: The breakfast was excellent with lots of choice and far better than many places we have stayed. The lady member of staff who we dealt with all the time was very nice and very efficient
Disliked: Parking in the car park was not guaranteed, but was not a problem for us

Good option for short stays.

Liked: Slightly quirky B&B above a popular pub. Room was large but crowded with a mixture of furniture. Breakfast excellent, pub is good too. Popular during the day at holidays/weekends, very quiet later on.
Disliked: Decor is showing signs of wear and tear. Not a great amount of storage/hanging space.
