Liked: The hotel was everything you would expect from a large 4 star hotel but rarely experienced. Altogether a very comfortable friendly and relaxing short stay.Certainly, The Hunters Moon Hotel is earmarked for another stay.

Liked: Good-sized room in the newer/extended part of the hotel. Clean and airy. Serviced each day - staff very flexible with timing.Splendid breakfast and dinner, both of which we took each day. Excellent, friendly service.Lovely grounds with seating/umbrellas/shade etc.Adjacent to local river walk.Easy access to town on foot.
Disliked: Bathroom with shower and bath, but shower screen on the side of the bath was far to small and use of the shower thus resulted in a very wet floor. So, baths all week - a first-world problem !Toilet remarkably low. Not a problem for us, but some of the older guests must surely struggle with this !!

Would definitely stay again.

Liked: The room was lovely and bright, overlooking the garden and The Byes beyond. Breakfast was freshly cooked and very tasty. Location was great as easy walking distance into the centre and close to public footpaths to experience some of the nearby countryside.
Disliked: I'm struggling to think of anything.

A lovely hotel with character.

Liked: The breakfast was good with choice of continental style items for self serve and then table service for a more substantial breakfast. The grounds are lovely and you can sit out side with a drink or play a game of putting. You can easily walk into Sidmouth and along the Byes so excellent location.
