Liked: Hunter Lodge is a great little find in the Catskills. You can tell the property is older—more like a retro motel or lodge—but it’s been tastefully redone with a modern, cozy vibe. The decor throughout, including the lounge and common areas, feels thoughtful and welcoming.Our room was very spacious and comfortable, with a lovely view from the patio facing nature. The terrace was also nicely updated and perfect for relaxing, especially with the fire pit just steps away.The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch—simple grab-and-go options like bagels, muffins, and coffee, but it had everything we needed to start the day.The location is convenient, the price is fair, and the staff were very friendly. Overall, it’s a great mix of rustic charm and refreshed style—we’d definitely come back!
Disliked: The bathroom was on the small side and a bit awkward to use—the door swings right into the toilet area. Also, the curtains weren’t full blackout, which made sleeping in a bit difficult if you’re sensitive to light.

Liked: Clean, friendly, well located, great facilities.
Disliked: The only issues with our room was the lack of overhead lighting in the bedrooms, and the lack of mirrors. We were a party of 8 so 1 mirror/ 1 bathroom was a little tricky. Other than that, the lodge was amazing.
