Liked: We did not want to leave! Staff were flexible with check-ins. Room was very spacious with a comfortable bed and effective air-con. All amenities you need including coffee machine and fridge. Bathroom was spacious, clean with great water pressure and no temperature issues. Big window at the back of the room with a view of trees and the river. Located next to a beautiful waterfall and river where you can take a dip. Restaurant attached to the cabin was delicious - would recommend the trout!

Disliked: The restaurant was less than to be desired. The food was good but not for the price, and the service was 2 star. Staff was very disorganized and non attentive. Old food in the cupboard and the stove in the room only worked on medium, not hot enough to boil water.

Liked: Excellent location in the mountains next to a river. The restaurant next door has Excellent (pricey) food, the room istself was good.

Weather was OK, but will...

Liked: When we made our reservations, we should have been told the restaurants were not open. Would have liked to have eaten at the RF McDougal Pub, since my father was partially responsible for the name. Food was always good in either place.
Disliked: The fact that now they supposedly have changed the name of the pub. No food available.

Great place to stay if...

Liked: There was no breakfast included in the stay. We ate at local restaurants, which are very good.
Disliked: None that I can thing of.
