Superb

An incredible place to stay.

Liked: Wow what a location! So peaceful with Stunning views over the Solway. They are having some update building done to the Property but this had no impact on our stay so do not be put off by this. Lovely, helpful, friendly staff too that could not do enough for you. The evening menu is not huge but what we had was absolutely delicious. Would definitely recommend staying here.
Disliked: Nothing.

One night stay for a...

Liked: It’s a beautiful building. Currently undergoing renovation so had scaffolding outside but didn’t take away from its charm: Inside was lovely and the staff really friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. The bed comfortable and we had a beautiful view Breakfast was just beautiful. Continental and cooked breakfast made to order. I had eggs royal, one of my favourites. The other guests were also really lovely.

Liked: We knew that were renovations at hotel and grounds , interior of hotel well appointed , Good water pressure in shower. Large bed room bright comfortable bed Attentive staff large bright dining room ,
Disliked: Room stuffy and hot at night ,window required to be open Couldn’t . Scaffolding on exterior opposite wall, rain during night battering down on corrugated roof of kitchen , kept us awake .Couldn’t use outside areas
