Liked: I am a Marriot Bonvoy member. While the Valet service and staff were professional and excellent, the rest of the staff were not. The Front Desk staff were underwhelming to hostile and the dining options insufficient for our needs. Impossible to get meals at off times, the restaurant closed at 10 on a Friday evening--is this a destination or not? And when we tried to get a late night drink before 12 noon, they claimed to be closed while people were drinking inside. I have stayed at other Autographs in the US where the service met or exceeded expectations. Unfortunately the Humaniti Montreal operates more like a 3 star, even though the property is beautiful and central. For that reason it is overpriced. I would rather pay slightly more for Hotel Birks or Fairmont-QE where the service is excellent at all times and in all areas of the hotel.
Disliked: Front Desk staff is rude and unhelpful.

Liked: We stayed here for a few nights and really enjoyed it. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was great — easy walking distance to a lot of the main tourist spots and there were plenty of shops around too. Breakfast was definitely a highlight, with lots of good options to choose from.The staff were helpful as well — they held our luggage for us before check-in and after we checked out, which made things a lot easier. There’s also a bakery and a really good restaurant right inside the building, which was super convenient. Overall, we had a really good stay.
Disliked: Not really a criticism, but if I had to mention something, the in-room dining menu could have been a bit more comprehensive, especially considering how many great choices the hotel restaurant had. After a long day out, it would have been nice to have a few more options available to enjoy in the room. That being said, this definitely isn’t a complaint or anything that ruined the stay — just a small thing that would have made an already great experience even better.
