Good

Liked: Hotel staff were friendly. Room in general was ok. Location was good.
Disliked: The shower didn't work as the pipe had split, didn't realise this until late. The room was very warm, bathroom radiator had been turned on. The carpet was very worn in parts, didn't impact on the stay but didn't look nice.Spare towels had some unsavoury marks on them.The spare pillow had something crusty on it.

Liked: Location was spot on, friendly staff. Good facilities.
Disliked: Cleanliness in room could have been a touch better. Toilet brushes needed. Window ledges needed a clean.

Disliked: We were right next to fire excite,but had to walk all the way round.up stairs down stairs.I lived in Hull for73 years loved the area,it's home,as an older person was not keen on the up and down stairs,I'm sporting a not so good knee or foot.We stayed with you because your dog friendly,which was very good.

Liked: The facilities and breakfast were really nice and the staff were pleasant.
Disliked: The smell in the corridors were very very strong, like a damp smell but its the strongest ive smelt in a place, its a shame because the building is nice and the location but the smell was very strong and needs looking into as it effected my chest.

Very comfortable, nice location

Liked: Very comfortable room at the end of the corridor, so very little noise from other visitors, thankful for a fan in the room as the weather was very humid. Easy to park and register the car at reception.
Disliked: I arrived around 8:30pm, no one at reception, a notice displayed a mobile number to ring, but when I called the number the mobile phone was obviously on the desk. I walked to the bar area to find a member of staff - I'd have preferred reception to be staffed on arrival.
