Liked: Close to a tram stop and walking distance to the telegraphique.
Disliked: Found hairs in the bathroom and no hot water kettle or cups in the room. The whole property is dated - more like a two star property in my opinion.

Liked: City Centre location. We didn’t mind the fact that it could be a little noisy at times, but that’s what you get with a city Centre location.
Disliked: Parking in the centre of the city is very expensive.

Modern-day comforts combined with old...

Liked: This was our second visit to the Hotel de l'Europe and we can't say enough about it. If you are looking for modern-day comfort within the confines of what used to be one of Grenoble's oldest and most charming hotels, look no further. This time we were given a top floor room with balcony and a view of the Place de Grenette and the Alps in the distance. We spent the first and last moments of every day admiring the magnificent views on that balcony. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious, and the staff couldn't be more charming and friendly.
Disliked: Everything was perfect.

Perfect stay for bicycle touring

Liked: Charming hotel in an excellent location. Very friendly staff. Secure storage for our bicycles. Good hearty breakfast.
