It was nice family trip...

Liked: Its location
Disliked: Whilst I understand Acapulco is still recovering from the damage caused by hurricanes, and that had an impact on how most buildings look, I felt the fees charged did not match the quality of the place. In general, the hotel is in need of paint (particularly in the beach area lifts), better doors to the rooms, better showers (they looked rusty and old) properly trained staff (they were slow and inefficient at the check in, provided faulty keys and even gave us a key to a room that was already occupied). Also, the buffet for breakfast was definitely not worth 490 pesos. I know we could have just picked a different place, but booked based on the rating of the place on booking.com, on the fact they advertise themselves as 5 star hotel, and the fact that I made my booking from abroad.
