Our stay was too short...

Liked: This hotel is lovely! It is perfectly located just a very short drive from Canterbury, and set in beautiful peaceful gardens. Our room was small, but very comfortable with all the conveniences we needed. I have to recommend the restaurant - the food was amazing! We're so glad we decided to dine in, and then the cooked and continental breakfast was the best start to the day.I would 10/10 stay there again! What a pity I was only booked in for one night.

Great time in great surroundings

Liked: Great location and grounds. Staff were all friendly and helpful.
Disliked: We were in an upstairs room. I don’t know if it was a temporary thing, but the water pressure was very poor

Gorgeous, relaxing, beautiful and comfortable....

Liked: Absolutely beautiful building with real old world. Harm and many remaining old features. Quirky and wonderful. Grounds were gorgeous. You could spend some time wandering near a small river walk. Just beautiful.
Disliked: Nothing. Everything was lovely, near perfect for me.

Fab two day break. Perfect...

Liked: Peaceful and well kept, food was excellent as was the service. Nothing is too much trouble for this hotel.

Excellent accommodation and excellent breakfast.

Liked: The property was a beautiful building set in beautiful grounds. The area was very quiet and relaxing. The facilities were excellent and the breakfasts superb. All in all it was exceptionally good value.
