Howard Johnson Hotel by Wyndham Toms River

I would only recommend this hotel based on the fair price when comparing to other hotels in the area. I was very unhappy with the room as it was not even close to the pictures posted online. Very disappointing. I would give it a 2 star rating and will definitely book a room in another hotel my next trip to Tom's River area.

Liked: Proximity to Pine Belt Arena.
Disliked: Rooms were not as depicted online. We booked hotel based on pictures, mostly for my daughter, and the room was NOTHING like the pictures shown. Very disappointing. There was also a strange smell in the hallways - maybe fumigation smell, which was very unpleasant.

Disliked: toilet seat loose, microwave missing glass tray, sliding door needs repair, burned seat on chair. otherwise it was clean. Charged card when I said I pay cash, but all worked out. my card was not charged.

Disliked: Well I been a customer for many years this was the worst experience I have had there. The bathroom door in the room didn’t close at all, dirty towel in the bathroom, stains on the bedsheet. Bad communication between guest service and front desk and housekeeping. My phone charger was left by accident in the room. They told me to come get it. They told me they were gonna have it for me. I came back to the hotel to get it now all of a sudden it’s gone
