Night stop at Red Deer

Liked: We were greeted by a very friendly lady at reception. The room was clean and comfy and we had a good night's sleep. Breakfast was a light self-serve continental breakfast of coffee, tea, and juice with assorted cereals (with milk) and bread (with toaster available for use) with butter, jams and honey and a fruit (we had bananas). It was convenient to be able to eat before we set off for the day and more than enough to keep us nourished till lunch time.

Disliked: Noisy neighbors causing a disturbance late at night. Fortunately it was stopped fairly quickly

Check in was very nice; Manager/staff always efficient and friendly.

Tired, outdated, drab and not worth any money at all

Liked: The friendliness of the manager on duty. Nothing else.
Disliked: This motel/hotel has been transported directly from the 1970s, or earlier. Drab, dark rooms, full of outdated, scruffy furniture and the cheapest of beds imaginable. You could barely turn around in the bathroom; and, when we arrived, the toilet had NOT been flushed. Wifi was completely undependable and seemed to be coming from a single computer in the hotel office. Although the manager allowed us to see two other rooms ... claiming them to be "the best" rooms in the hotel, they were only marginally better than the one we booked and still not satisfactory. Either invest in this place, Wyndham, and bring it into the 21st century, or tear it down!
