Howard Johnson by Wyndham Pasadena

We had a great stay at HoJo, Pasadena. We were running the Pasadena half marathon and the hotel provided us with free bottled water, extended breakfast house and extended our checkout. Location is great - walking distance to yummy restaurants. Staff was very friendly.

Liked: Room was very spacious, nicely updated, comfortable beds, & clean. Happy to have refrigerator/freezer, microwave, iron etc. in room. Terrific room.

Liked: Location , helpful staff , great parking , my room had a view onto the beautiful library across the street
Disliked: Dated, exterior could use a deep clean and update, pool location and appearance is uninviting, very basic breakfast ( cereal, toast, packaged pastries)

Liked: Nothing, on top of me paying everything that was asked for. They wanted me to give them another $240 dollars. Until I checked out. Then it would take 5-10 business days to get my money back. In the end I never stayed at the Howard Johnson hotel. I need to find out how do I receive my money back from the app that I paid for my room?.
Disliked: I wasn't told that after I paid for my room, that I had to leave a deposit in order to get my room. Un professional.
