Liked: A pleasant atmosphere, aesthetically appealing (indoor balconies are sharp), clean and comfortable beds. Note, during our stay interior construction was going on. Thank you.
Disliked: The continental breakfast reflected little effort (very small buffet, few choices, I bit into rotten apple, terrible coffee, gas-station type pastries). Also, pool should have had towels at poolside and not depended on customers to bring their own.

Great value and convenient location...

Liked: The hotel is located right off of a major highway in Ohio within a block of many hotels. There is a large pool, but the hot tub has been removed. There is no giftshop. The room was extremely affordable compared to the other hotels. It is an older hotel that has been renovated. There is a huge Howard Johnson orange Adirondack chair out front for a photo opp. The breakfast spread was nice - toast, bagels, cereal, oatmeal, folded eggs with cheese, sausage, yogurt, fruit, milk, and waffle makers. There is a fish tank in the lobby and a brochure rack.
Disliked: The sheets had black marks on them, likely from the industrial washing machine. We were really looking forward to the hot tub, but it is no longer available. The breakfast attendant constantly checked on us and removed our plates - I prefer to eat in peace.

Liked: Hotel was very very clean, which was amazing for an older property. Beds were comfortable and check-in was easy.
