Why Concert-goers love it

With a 15:00 check-in and an 11:00 check-out, there’s enough flexibility to catch a late-night encore and still enjoy some morning rest. The location also offers a quieter atmosphere compared to the Strip, giving fans a peaceful place to recharge after a big night.

Who this Hotel is great for

  • Groups of friends looking for a central, budget-friendly base

Food and Drink Options

Start your day with a free hot breakfast served daily—perfect for those who stayed out late. While there's no restaurant on-site, the hotel is within walking or short driving distance to local diners, casual spots, and fast food options. There’s also a mini-fridge in every room for late-night concert snacks.

Nightlife Options

Although the hotel itself is more focused on rest than revelry, you're just a short drive or rideshare away from Branson’s nightlife scene. Whether it’s a post-show drink at a local bar or catching another round of live music at nearby lounges, you’ll have options aplenty.

What People Say

Guests regularly praise the clean, spacious rooms and the friendly, attentive staff. Many mention the location as a huge plus—close to shows but far enough for a peaceful night. The indoor pool is also a hit for relaxing downtime between events.

Areas for Improvement

Some reviewers note that the property is a bit dated in spots, though most agree it’s well-maintained. A few guests mentioned the exterior-entry rooms could use extra soundproofing, so light sleepers may want to request an interior room.

The Bottom Line

This is a value-packed hotel in a prime spot for Branson concerts—comfortable, convenient, and ideal for fans who want to stay close to the music without breaking the bank.

Liked: Close to where we was going
Disliked: The Ac in the room didn’t work! Lady at the front desk canceled my reservation and said I would get a full refund! Then the property manager said I wouldn’t get any refund. I should have at least got half my money back.

Had a Payment Issue and...

Liked: We liked the location. We were close to everywhere we needed to be and the traffic along that stretch wasn't bad at all. Rooms were like the photos shown online and were clean. Also liked the check-in service. The man behind the desk was very nice and he went out of his way to make sure we were approved for an early check-in (offered via online for a fee; I had called the hotel prior to confirm the approval and spoke with him) He was also the same person who checked us in. Very nice.
Disliked: There were some issues:1. Their signage out front is very hard to spot. It looks like the chain bought an older hotel and renovated it - the original (blank) sign is way up high like it should be, but the Howard Johnson banner is quite a bit underneath it. We drove by it several times before we realized that's where it was. Not that big of a deal, but just letting you know it's not easy to spot the first time driving by. (I'm going to give the benefit of the doubt that this is something that is already in the works as part of the renovation).2. There was a very bad smell in the hallways - it could have been the cleaning products used, but it smelled BAD. It was bad enough that we were very concerned at first about how the rest of the place was.3. There was also limited lighting in the hallways. It gave it a dark and dank look. It made us a little nervous, especially coming back in late at night.4. I received a very rude phone call from a woman at the front desk. We were away from the hotel that evening and she called to have me come to the lobby "immediately" to settle up with our "balance". Apparently, she ran my debit card and it only partially paid out. I explained that I wasn't there, but I would check my bank account to see what was going on. There was plenty of money there to cover the hotel; I relayed this info to her and asked what the balance was. Between what was taken out and what we still owed, it was $60 more than booking.com had sold us the room (booking.com was going to charge $127; add to that a $20 fee for early check-in). I'm not sure where the hotel came up with an extra $60 in fees, but it was WAY more than I had expected to pay for one nights' stay. I tried to ask why it was so much more than the price I booked (I was fully aware of the $20 charge for early check-in) and was met with rudeness.

Liked: The room was great.
Disliked: The vending. Couldn't find one that worked. The air conditioner vent was extremely dirty in my room. Room wasn't cooling so I checked it. I'll post pic next.

Very good

Liked: The location is great. My wife and I love staying on Sheppard of the hills expressway. The room was nice and clean. It was a very busy time there was alot of noise in hallways but its summer and kids deserve to have fun also.
Disliked: Outside is dated and needs a coat of paint. The breakfast needs a major overhaul or just discontinued. There was no where near enough food and what was there was picked over. Other than that it was a great stay
