Liked: It was very clean and had a nice smell in the room. The breakfast was good.
Disliked: The street it was located on had a lot of traffic noise and it was difficult to fall asleep.

Liked: Hotel is newly renovated - very nice! We had a kitchenette in our room! Very spacious room - comfy bed and pillows. Breakfast was typical, but nice assortment is food. Fundrcorations in dining areas - mid-century modern. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Each room had its own entrance from the street, not in a hallway.
Disliked: Road noise from highway, but it wasn’t bad.

Clean, comfortable, affordable, and convenient...

Liked: Check in was super easy, I was able to get our room changed from the 2nd to 1st floor (had a service dog with us and wanted easy access to the grass area) at check-in with no issue. The bed was super comfortable, the nearly full kitchenette was very useful, there was no noise from any of our neighboring units, it was super convenient to get back on I-10 after our stay, and the breakfast buffet was an appreciated extra touch. Nothing fancy about it (to be expected) but all of the food was fresh and they offered a wide variety of options like a waffle maker, scrambled eggs, bagels, muffins, potatoes, fries, fresh fruit, and more. I would definitely stay here again.
Disliked: There was a random fire/smoke alarm that went off throughout the property around 4pm three times that was really startling and freaked out our service animal (and wow was it rough on the ears!) but had no other problems the rest of the evening and I'm glad to know their fire alarms DEFINITELY work! ;)

Disliked: The rooms were very damp. Possibly due to the front door not being sealed properly which also made the room noisy as it is located next to a busy road.
