Superb

Eccentric, non-cookie-cutter delightful, hospitable

Liked: Individual and eccentric. The place is layered with antiques and kitschy items giving it an over-the-top nutty quality that we enjoyed. Evan is a superb cook and accommodating host who is willing to explain all the amazing stuff. The building and location are excellent and the price was very reasonable for high season in Mystic.
Disliked: There is so much stuff in the inn that it feels a little musty, although the staff is excellent and works hard. Our room was not cleaned up after our first night, which was a disappointment.

Loved our stay and will...

Liked: Breakfast provided by host, and it was excellent.
Disliked: Cannot say anything negative, all was very good.

Liked: We like historic properties and antiques so we enjoyed staying with Evan to also enjoy his hospitality and great breakfast that sets you up for the day.

Great place; so different than...

Liked: Evan was wonderful and the house was so unique and filled with so much history and character. Breakfasts are amazing (thank you, Evan!) and he really takes care to make what each guest wants. Such a great location - close to EVERYTHING! Also the price was really reasonable. Such a fun time!

Disliked: For us a few inconveniences as we age.-- private bathroom but it was across the hall.-- stairs to much to climb. (not sure if I didn't catch that in the ad'

A unique property kept alive...

Liked: Evan's hospitality was genuine and warm. He loves his house and it's history. He cooked for everyone in the house and took great enjoyment from doing so. The house and its contents were fascinating to sit, relax and appreciate. Lovely environment!
Disliked: Mattress was adequate, not fantastic.

Nice idea but it needs...

Liked: The host is delightful and clearly loves the property . The location is ok but it requires a car to get to Mystix
Disliked: It’s extremely cluttered and that makes it very difficult to keep it clean. It needs a thorough overall and a deep clean .
