The Spotlight on House Belfast Hotel

Stylish Boutique Vibes in Belfast’s Music Quarter

Modern yet full of character, House Belfast Hotel is a boutique-style stay set on the leafy and lively Botanic Avenue, right in the heart of Belfast’s Queen’s Quarter. Just a short walk from the city centre and close to popular venues like The Waterfront Hall, Odyssey Arena, and the Grand Opera House, this hotel blends laid-back charm with a vibrant nightlife scene.
Each room features free WiFi, a coffee machine, Rituals toiletries, and complimentary bottled water—perfect touches for resting and recharging after a big night out.

Why Concert-goers love it

Location is everything, and House Belfast Hotel delivers. You’re just minutes from several of Belfast’s best music venues, so you won’t need to worry about late-night taxis or long walks after the encore. The hotel’s central setting means excellent access to late-night public transport, and its on-site nightclub keeps the music going even after the show ends. With a 3:00 PM check-in and 11:00 AM check-out, the timing works well for both pre-gig prep and post-gig sleep-ins.

Who this Hotel is great for

  • Groups of friends looking to stay near the city's top venues and nightlife
  • Solo travellers checking off a bucket-list gig
  • Couples making a weekend of live music and city exploring
  • Fans who want a cool, stylish place to unwind post-show
  • Budget-conscious music lovers who still want boutique comfort

Food and Drink Options

The hotel’s relaxed bar and bistro offers a welcoming spot to grab a bite or drink before or after a gig. While there’s no 24/7 room service or late-night menu, the central location means you’re surrounded by walkable eateries and cafes for post-concert cravings. Breakfast is available on-site, ideal for those needing a slow start after a late night.

Nightlife Options

House Belfast brings the party to you with its own lively nightclub—a huge plus for those who want to keep the energy going after the concert. Not in the mood to dance? The in-house bar serves up local craft drinks in a more laid-back setting, and there are plenty of nearby lounges and pubs for a change of scene.

What People Say

Guests love the hotel’s trendy aesthetic, friendly staff, and prime location near Queen’s University and Belfast’s music scene. Reviews frequently mention the vibrant atmosphere and walkable access to both cultural attractions and nightlife. Many highlight the comfort of the rooms and the quality of the on-site bar and bistro.

Areas for Improvement

Some guests note that rooms near the nightclub can be a bit noisy on weekends—so if you're planning an early night, it’s worth requesting a quieter room. Parking is limited, but public transport and walking are often more convenient given the central location.

The Bottom Line

For concert-goers wanting a boutique stay with nightlife on tap and music venues within walking distance, House Belfast Hotel hits all the right notes.

Liked: Hotel was easy to find on main street right. Although parking was advertised as provided by the hotel, it isn't. Instead you can park for free overnight on the main street as long as you move by 8 am or the side streets opposite. Despite being in the middle of the student area I got a good night's sleep and although I had no view the window opened to a private area so was quiet.
Disliked: It was a shame the bar was closed when I was there and also there was no breakfast the temporary chef hadn't turned up. Also, the decor downstairs is nice but in the rooms it's very dark. Also in the corridors they've gone for black carpets and black walls, which probably looks good in pictures but shows all the dirt and looks tired.

Below average unfortunately - would...

Liked: It was close proximity to where we needed to be the next day!
Disliked: The restaurant & bar were closed during our stay, something that is not really highlighted until booking is confirmed Also the hotel smelt stale, it really needs a good clean and maintenance need to do a snag list as issues everywhere that need addressing!

Great location, friendly staff, room...

Liked: Location was superb. Just down from train station and the venue I was visiting. Close to lots of great restaurants.
Disliked: Booked superior twin room, was given a normal double room. Very dark. Glad it was bright outside so we had good light for our makeup. Couldn’t use shower as we didn’t want to get our hair wet - no chance of keeping it dry with shower head. Shelves were very dusty.
