Disliked: Gave me the wrong receipt —-it had a different hotel name

Liked: Location is great, just minutes away from the festovities.
Disliked: The bathroom had peeling paint. The carpet was stained. The door was warped by humidity.

Disliked: Foul smell in the halls. Repugnant carpets. Toilet seat old and varnish coming off.

Liked: Location, free underground parking. Despite the hotel’s dire need of a major refresh, the room was clean. Staff were helpful with our ‘noisy’ room issues.
Disliked: This hotel is in dire need of a major refresh. Had to switch rooms twice! First room, toilet eminating constant irratating ‘filling’ noise. Second room, A/C loud squeeking noise so got assigned a third room. Realize this is not the hotel’s fault, but the electricity went out around 10:45 PM and had not returned when we checked out at 7:30 AM. With no elevator service, we had to lug our luggage down 4 flights of stairs in a stairwell with no emergency lighting whatsoever! Had to use our phone flashlights (as did other guests!). Pretty certain this does not meet emergency safety standards. We were travelling with friends, one of whom with mobility issues, and there were no hotel staff to assist with their luggage (5 flights of stairs). Anyway, this hotel will not be on my ‘favourites’ list!
