Hotell Södra Berget

Great stay, but disappointing food...

Liked: The room was very nice and comfortable. Free parking was a big plus. The bed was very comfortable, and the air in the room felt fresh — there’s even a heater if it gets cold. The spa area was also excellent and a great place to relax.
Disliked: Unfortunately, the food at the Bistro restaurant was disappointing. The Caesar salad was so bad we didn’t even eat it. The pizza was average and a bit dry. We also ordered an expensive meat sandwich, which was not worth the price. At breakfast, the oven-baked omelet was delicious, but they burned it the first time and we had to ask them to make it again. On the bright side, the food at the 180° restaurant was much better.

Absolutely nothing open on Sunday....

Liked: Nice modern hotel in beautiful surroundings
Disliked: Absolutely nothing open on Sunday. No restaurant, bar or room service. The staff did message me of this in advance but unfortunately the message did not come through until after I had arrived at the hotel. Had I known I would have cancelled the booking. I would expect better from this standard of hotel.

Spectacular stay

Liked: The view and the interior atmosphere were fantastic!!! Also, the spa had a lot of small pools and saunas and lounges so it did not feel crowded even though it was fully booked. The hotel also has a lot of other activities, like bowling, laser game, arcade halls, etc, which we did not have time to explore, so we could easily spend more nights here!!!
Disliked: Nothing, actually.
