Liked: I was in room 16 and my friends noticed a bed bug on her while sitting at the airport. Please check the room so it doesn’t impact other guests.

Liked: The location was incredibly convenient and the neighbourhood is one of my favourites.
Disliked: All of the soap dispensers were empty (shower and sink as per photos) and there was an extra soap dispenser provided at the sink but it was broken and almost completely empty. The garbage bin in the bathroom was also broken...metal lid had snapped right off. These are inexpensive things to fix and would have made for a much better stay. Also, the drapes were falling off...also an easy fix and I would have done it myself but I didn't have a safe way of getting up that high. Lastly, I would have told reception about these things and asked for soap refills but I checked in just before they left for the day and never saw another soul again until I left.

Disliked: The checkin was done with a rude staff member who did not understand the way Booking works and wanted us to pay again - even though he saw and confirmed that we had paid already, but as the money had not been transferred until the end of the stay according to Booking procedure, he urged us to pay upfront, again, or we would not be allowed to stay the night. Well in the room we found that it was not clean. Filth on walls, items of rubbish under the bed and not clean sheets - which the same staff member acknowledged but did not want to change since he thought "that then you probably will blame me if something disappears from the room". Also a room with very bad ventilation.

Liked: The location was very good.
Disliked: My room was different to the photos. One of the sockets was out from the wall. The fan was plugged into it. But I didn't think it was safe to use. The hotel in general felt more like a hostel. A kitchenette was advertised, so I was expecting crockery and cutlery. But it was just tea, coffee, water and a fridge. It is claimed that there is someone at the front desk until 7pm. But I arrived around 4:30,pm, I think. There was no hotel staff there. My room was also right beside the main door. Every time someone went in or out at night, they let the door slam which woke me up. So my advice is don't stay in room 13. I actually ended up checking into a different hotel for my final night so that I could get a good night's sleep. I would have left sooner but all of the other hotels were way too expensive so I could only afford one night elsewhere. I just didn't get a good feel from the hotel. I would advise against staying there. You will pay more for other hotels, but at least you'll get a proper hotel experience.
