Liked: Nice little hotel, very conveniently located. Just a few minutes walk to Mariestad old town and harbor. Staff is super friendly. My room option included dinner in addition to breakfast, which is very convenient when you are alone and don't want to go anywhere in the evening.

Cosy winter getaway

Liked: Beautifully decorated property, centrally located just 10min walk to the train. It is a quiet place, little to no noise from other guests and the road. The half board provisions were delicious, dinner varying nightly. Tea, coffee available all day with Fika (afternoon tea) included. The staff were a highlight, very welcoming and enjoyable conversation.
Disliked: It is a wonderful property. The bed was a little too soft for me but that’s simply a personal preference.

Disliked: Well the location,breakfast,cleaning and the dinner service is so good for those who work late and come to the hotel can eat there.

An unexpected gem!

Liked: This was by far the cheapest place we stayed in during our Swedish holiday but it greatly exceeded expectations. There were lots of lovely little touches such as organic semi skimmed milk in the fridge in the corridor which we used to make a cuppa in our room.Both dinner and breakfast were yummy. Not only was there a great spread for breakfast but the friendly proprietor encouraged guests to make themselves a packed lunch and provided bags to aid the process.
