A beautiful hotel in a...

Liked: We loved the close proximity to the major sights in the Historical area of Mexico City. The choices for breakfast were healthy and delicious Eg. Fresh juices, vegetarian omelettes. The views were beautiful over the zocalo and cathedral. The cafe where you could choose anything from the menu and included in your room rate was a lovely surprise.
Disliked: The staff member in the cafe was borderline rude, condescending with her attitude to serve us. Unfortunately she was working the 3 days of our stay. Little things like good customer service is worth a million…

Liked: The amenities were excellent
Disliked: They advertise the view, however, you have to make a reservation to even get to go up to the rooftop. They don’t allow anyone, even if you have a room, to enter the rooftop unless you’re eating there. I thought I was paying for the rooftop or would at least be able to go up to see it. But that’s not the case. It ruined the hotel experience for me

Liked: Staff at the front desk and helping with luggage are exceptionally friendly and go out of their way to welcome you.We had breakfast included which you have in the 6th Zocalo balcony restaurant with its spectacular view of the Zocalo. The Cafe Central on the ground floor provides free snacks and beverages all day in addition to the fridge of free water and apples on each floor.Our room on the 5th floor was quiet, very clean and lovely. The camerista was very friendly and left candy on the pillow each day which is a nice touch.I can't compare with the other comparable hotels around the Zocalo in terms of pricing and service but we really liked this hotel.
