Hotel Zilema

Clean and comfortable no frills...

Liked: Clean, friendly, no frills hotel. Room and common areas dated but clean and air conditioning worked great. Beds were comfortable. Basic bathroom functioned well. The daily room cleaning was fantastic considering we were at the beach every day. Breakfast was basic Italian. Wifi wasn't great and it was difficult for us at times because as foreign tourists you really need that wifi to work to communicate and to plan out the days and nights. Parking on the grounds, easy and always available during our stay. Staff very nice and friendly!
Disliked: wifi was weak and sometimes not working at all :(

Good overall.

Liked: Room was very clean and the balcony was an added bonus. A/C was very quiet and perfect. Breakfast was a little sparse not a lot of choice, maybe a little extra fruit and a couple more choices like cold meats with fresh rolls, cheap enough to add to the menu and it will improve whole experience, the morning coffee depended on the person making it so mostly a little weak and sometimes cold. we worked out the best barista there and noticed that when she was on reception that's when the coffee was good. The location of the sea relative to the hotel was perfect, the staff are friendly and helpful, parking was mostly in shade for the car which made it a overall perfect place to use as a bed and breakfast as we did. A little away from the town centre but nothing like a good walk to work off that pizza.
Disliked: The location, the staff, the room and the view. would recommend a car as there is very little access to the town centre without one.
