I would NOT recommend Hotel...

Liked: Liked the colors. The hidden door was cool. The idea of the hotel is cool.
Disliked: We had looked at many hotels when were were planning our visit to Albuquerque. Most of what we looked at included breakfast for a lesser rate. We choose Hotel Zazz because the website looked really cool. Facilities were not what Iwe expected. based on the pictures and website. To be fair, whoever does the marketing/social media/website does an incredible job. But we expected something different. Having said that, the place was clean when we arrived.However, to charge $25 to check in early is ridiculous. If you can pay $25 to check in early, that means a room is ready, so if a room is ready, why couldn't we check in? Why would we pay $25 to check in early? Just say no early check in.Second, we stayed 3 nights. The last night we had returned to our room about 8:30pm. Our room had not been cleaned.We went to the office and asked about it and were told "Our people have worked really hard this week, so we gave them the day off as a lot of people had checked out. " Well what about the people still there? Also, even when they cleaned the room on the first full day we were there, they did not empty the trash throughout out our stay.So we were disappointed in the facilities, our room wasn't cleaned.

Horrid and wrong!

Liked: Property cute, but refused to allow my REAL SERVICE DOG in citing all kind of nonsense like laws against being on the second floor. I had not requested 1st floor, then said they did not want a dog in THAT room, they have not refunded my money. It was ridiculous and I will not suggest to anybody that they go to that hotel.I will make sure all Veterans groups people with disabilities are not welcome. They even asked me for an identification card for my service dog !!!

Liked: Staff was great. You have to be uplifted with the color being every where.

Short, fun stay with my...

Liked: It was a great room! Loved the lighting and dimmers! The bed and pillows were super comfortable. I was looking forward to the pool but the weather was cold! Imagine that!
Disliked: I didn't have anywhere to work or set up my laptop. There isn't a lounge here and there wasn't a desk in my room. This part of Central Ave is still not my favorite. Stayed downtown because my son wanted to stay somewhere hip!
