Liked: Excellent staff

London has become a very...

Liked: the freindliness of the staff and their willingness to make our stay more pleasant was the high point.
Disliked: i booked an executive king size room but it was quite constrained and with little or no 'space'. we asked to be moved and this happened pretty quickly - i reckon it was identical in terms of area but slightly more square layout so didnt feel as cramped.ALSO - I WAS TOLD AT CHECK IN THAT I DID NOT QUALIFY FOR MY BONVOY NIGHTS CREDIT AS I HAD BOOKED THROUGH BOOKING.COM - THATS TWICE THIS HAS HAPPENED SO I WONT BE USING BOOKING.COM AGAIN UNLESS THERE IS A BIG COST SAVING.

Just wonderful at a difficult...

Liked: I was staying as my husband was having major emergency surgery at the Cromwell hospital next door to the Xenia. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful in my situation and always checked that I had what I needed. They found nice tables for me in the restaurant and service was very quick which helped when I had to get back to the hospital.
Disliked: My room was rather small and I see that in comments by others, but this is a historic building and would not be subject to changing walls or room shapes. Im afraid that if you book in an old building you must expect odd shapes and small doorways..

Disliked: The drinks were very expensive £18 for a glass of wine.

Comfortable, upscale, perfectly-located hotel in...

Liked: Fantastic hotel in Kensington at about 10 minute's distance to both Earl's Court and Gloucester underground stations. The rooms are not large but they are comfortable and clean. Lovely L'Occitane products in the bathroom. Breakfast was the best we had in all of our UK hotels with so many delicious choices. Hotel staff was kind and helpful. A special shout-out to Tanin in the dining area who made our daughter "THE BEST" hot chocolate she's ever had. We would absolutely recommend Hotel Xenia!
Disliked: London is an expensive city and this hotel stay was a splurge for us and totally worth it!
