A DISASTROUS HOTEL
Liked: The staff, responsible for transportation.
Disliked: At check-in the extra beds in the room were not prepared.Restaurants close without any announcements, although the websites claim 7-days per week opening hours till 8 pm.No vending machines, that could be an alternative. Most people, that were running the pool were impolite to the guests. Were never controlling extremely loud screaming children.

Very good
Liked: The room was great -- perfect, really. It was very clean and comfortable, and the bed and bedding were excellent. I loved the sitting area with coffee table and magazines, and loved the L'Occitane soaps. The room included lots of thoughtful touches that did not go unnoticed. All lovely.
Disliked: It would be nice if the rooftop bar/restaurant area felt more relaxed and welcoming to hotel guests, at least during daylight hours on weekdays before the "club scene" kicks in. I felt an expectation that in order to enjoy the rooftop amenities on a summer Wednesday at 7 PM, I should be in my mid-20s and ideally from Dubai. I am neither. There was also a level of pretense that did not make sense to me. I have stayed at award-winning luxury hotels where I always felt welcome, relaxed, and received excellent service. Here, the rooftop experience felt sort of "new money" and lacking in good manners. I understand if this vibe is a strategic business decision, but FWIW, it was not very crowded. Perhaps middle-aged upper-middle-class white American females who are already guests of the hotel present an untapped bar/restaurant business opportunity, at least for the earlier hours on weekdays.

Not as expected and overpriced
Disliked: Its way overpriced! Quality of finishes are basic not the best. Room size is standard but furniture and decoration really basic for the price. I didnt enjoy our night and the lake view as there was a very loud event accross the street from 2pm. We couldnt even hear our TV . I have been to many different hotels in Toronto and I can say that this Hotel is overpriced. You get tempted by the view and pool but in the end you get disappointed from the poor interior design, quality and noise around. As well this shouldnt be a kids friendly hotel. Not that I care for kids being around but found it more like a party hotel so pool is not for kids as well the area seems to be party and events all around! I missed good details and fine finishes. The closet was so basic there is no single drawer which is weird.
