Excellent location and hotel

Liked: Spacious room - goood food and public areas. Very helpful and friendly staff
Disliked: Would have preferred two single beds in our twin room rather than double and single. Not enough shelf space in bathroom for personal toiletries

Liked: View was outstanding. Food was very good. Miniature toiletries and good selection of room drinks
Disliked: Hotel from the outside was terrible. No signage and didn’t look like it was a hotel. Room was ok with a big bed but was not what I would call a delux room. Decking on the balcony was so gappy in places it was dangerous. Sink didn’t drain properly. For £260 a night I would expect far better. The only saving grace was the lovely view. The food although excellent was expensive. Some staff were very good others ignored us while waiting at the bar just a “I will be with you in a minute” goes a long way.

Liked: Good location. Breakfast excellent. Free car parking. Lovely decked veranda next to river.
Disliked: Slightly small bedroom , but bathroom a good size. Wheeliebins being emptied at 06.30 and 07.30 in car park on Friday outside our window was a pain.
