A hidden gem!
Liked: It is gorgeous, clean, charming and perfectly located!
Disliked: The parking situation is a bit challenging, but I managed. I didn’t love that I had to go back out to put a parking pass in my window. And the signage within the hotel could be improved in terms of which wing your room is in. I’ve stayed there several times and it is always confusing to me. The little flier that they put the keys in could easily make that more clear, as well as better signage in the lobby.

Like a secret little gem...
Liked: Staff and doorman/valet were amazing. From the front desk to the rooftop bar. Clean and fresh and loved that it was within walking distance of everything

Not what I expected...
Liked: The location was close to campus.
Disliked: The AC did not work in our room and the closet light would not turn off so we had to sleep with this annoying light on. The towels were not white, they were stained and off white. The shower and sink was not cleaned well. I could see someone else's handprint on the glass. The receptionist didnt even look up to acknowledge us when we came in. She didnt look at us for a little over 15 minutes as she was speaking with someone booking on the phone. I have never been to a hotel where that happened where the people in the lobby weren't priority. They didnt have maps of Longswoods campus available which is a super simple, thoughtful touch a hotel can have. Usually when im visiting a college town they have the campus maps available for guests who want them as a convenience. The coffee was not good at all- super bitter and cheap. For all of the trying to be fancy features of the hotel, they missed on the simple but most important things. We were incredibly uncomfortable our entire stay and so glad we were only staying 1 night.
