Liked: The neighborhood is lovely - easy access to Museum Mile. The restaurant downstairs is pricey for breakfast, but we loved it as well as Island restaurant, next door.
Disliked: Our room was small, but not too bad for NYC. The bathroom shower was wonderful. I believe that the hotel is closing in January.

Liked: Friendly staff and proximity to park and museums. The room was quiet enough to sleep comfortably.
Disliked: The elevator and the hallways were on the narrow side

Liked: I have stayed here several times before - the location is very convenient, the room is usually spacious, quiet, and with a nice view of Madison Ave, and I love the restaurant downstairs.
Disliked: On this stay, my room was extremely small, the only tiny window faced a brick wall, and it hasn't been properly cleaned before my arrival (trash in the can and open/used soap). I arrived so late and needed to wake so early I didn't bother requesting new

Liked: Upon arrival you couldn't have been greeted better or a more pleasant attitude from the staff. Thank you for turning a rough day into a pleasant one.

This is an old hotel on the upper east side. The room we had was extremely small. If you are not going to spend any time except sleeping, it is fine.
Liked: Location. Easy walk to Mt. Sinai Hospital, The Guggenheim and other museums, and numerous restaurants.
Disliked: The room was so small that you had no place to sit other than i desk chair and on the bed.

Liked: Staff was helpful and let me borrow an umbrella. The location was convenient and the room service from Hotel employee was good. The rooftop was cute.
Disliked: I'd requested a room with a refrigerator for medication and it wasn't in the room when I got there. The room was very small.
