Liked: It is very close to the railway station and the old city. The breakfasts were very nice and could be taken on the amazing rooftop terrace. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Liked: Great location, lots of good restaurants and very near all you want to see.

Liked: The location was ideal right near the cathedral and we had a nice view of the Palazzo Vecchio tower from our room. The staff was very nice and helpful.
Disliked: Too bad the rooftop bar was closed during our stay. I could not find the information mentioned anywhere and we wish it was clearly indicated that it was closed for renovations.

The best views of Florence...

Liked: The Hotel Villani is so well placed with the most exceptional views from the roof terrace bar serving the best virgin mojitos. This was an experience not to be missed.
Disliked: Be prepared for a small lift as you are on the 4th floor.

Liked: Perfect location, deffinately more than 2*

Florence is glorious

Liked: I have stayed here before and I returned because I love the terrace overlooking Santa Maria del Fiore and the city to the East & West. Glorious.Plus, the staff is extremely welcoming and helpful and the location is absolutely perfect. All the key sites are within 10 minutes walk.
Disliked: As with most older hotels, enough electrical outlets to run our gadgets is a challenge but an inconvenience you can live with.
