Not a good value for...
Liked: Bed was more or less okThe vino shop had some nice choices
Disliked: In industrial area next to a cement plant I guess, which of course you will not see on the photos. Not as romantic domain as they try to make it appear on the photos. The room was basic in an annex building, almost as if not part of the hotel. No fridge, no kettle, if you open the window you hear people talking till the middle of the night on the parking. The more you stay in it the more dingy it lookedThe breakfast was at the outrageous price of 24 eur per person which we did not take.I guess the offer is catered to ripping off travellers that will never come back and will not recommend the hotel.

Disappointing
Liked: The wellness area is excellent and during our visit very quiet
Disliked: The hotel is in the middle of an industrial area. Our room was on the other side of the street so we couldn’t go in a bathrobe to the wellness. In order to do so, we took a paid, upgraded room in the main building. This room didn’t have coffee making facilities nor a mini bar. Since the hotel bar was also already closed before 12AM this would have been good. There came a bad smell from the shower in the bathroom.

Liked: Very helpful friendly staff. Good communication beforehand with very prompt responses to my queries. Excellent breakfast. We asked for kettles before we arrived and these were in our rooms though we had to provide our own tea etc. normally these are only in the deluxe rooms and not in the ‘comfort’ rooms so we were most grateful!
Disliked: On arrival, the receptionist told us we had to go across the garden and through the bar to reach our rooms. This was very difficult pulling a case along and it was already dark. However the next morning we found there was a way of staying inside to walk round which would have been much easier! We didn’t see this receptionist again and everyone else gave us excellent information and advice.I think it would be helpful if Booking.com stated the room facilities (eg. Whether Kettles are provided) more clearly to cut down on the need for contacting the hotel.

Liked: Location, staff, ease of checkin/check out.
Disliked: The Facility appears to have been closed down for a long time - the air within the main building and the room was rancid - so much so it affected quality of sleep.-The hotel didn't prepare the room or the hotel for guests arriving.-Airing the room before and after the guest has left is a must especially on grounds of hygiene.-The room was functional table, chairs bed etc - somehow a kettle in the room appears to be a on request only extra.-The carpet in the lift has certainly seen better years - woundt hurt to replace that 2 square meter bit - doesnt cost much!-No translucent curtains - only darkening ones for the door!-Shower cabinet needs repairing.-Never seen IKEA glasses in (4 Star) hotel bathrooms so far (OR AirBnBs for that matter) - Looks like extreme cost saving measures have been put in place. In all, this is nothing more than a glorified dormitory.I am very hardpressed to see how this hotel got 4 star (!). For european standards, I would be giving it a reluctant 3 if at all!
