Would recommend this hotel and...

Liked: The breakfasts were superb, plenty of everything. The host was exceptional. The location was excellent, close to shops, restaurants and Tram which was very easy to get into town.
Disliked: The wi-fi wasn't very good

Superb

Liked: The Villa Tosca is a great location, quite upmarket residential area next to a forest yet a short walk to U-Bahn, S-Bahn, restaurants, bakery etc. The host is very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast of cold meats, cheeses, bread rolls etc. provides a good start to the day. Our rooms were huge with plenty of space to sit and large bathrooms. It's a lovely old building with lots of character & original features. There is plenty of hot water and the heating keeps the rooms toasty on cold winter days.
Disliked: Wi Fi is very weak, but phone signal strong.

Liked it, but there are...

Liked: The location is just amazing, very close to tram and surroundings are very nice! The hotel itself is very cozy too! It's being run by a single (visible (older) person, who speaks both English and German (my German is rudimentary, so it's important). Visually the place is stunning. Breakfasts are ok-ish. It's definitely not Hilton, but I got my egg, several rolls, nice salami and cheese.
Disliked: WiFi didn't work for me. At first it didn't work at all, later it started working, but there were no internet (at least my phone couldn't catch it).Also, my bad was VERY creaky. And once, lamells in the night slightly felt thru, it was scary, I thought that I broke the bed, but I had to just slightly move them slightly to fix. Also, towels really could be better, ones in the room are really thin.

Nice 19 century house with...

Liked: Breakfast was great. The house is old but feels like a castle from the 19th century. Tall ceilings and very well decorated. The host was super friendly and asked us what we want for breakfast. The studio where we stayed was beautifully decorated, with carpets and drapes and a nice soft bed. The linens were fresh and everything was very clean. Would come stay again
Disliked: Because of the church nearby, it was difficult to find parking when we arrived. The next morning, there was plenty of parking. I would advise to arrive earlier so that you can leave the car before the service starts.
