Hotel Villa Serena

Disappointing

Very poor

Disliked: They were going to put me in a room that was right by the street. The room had a very bad ordor. Very small room. I did not stay instead I left and found another hotel.

Good

Liked: It was very clean room. Loved the walk in shower. The room decorations were nice.
Disliked: I didn't like the thin blanket on the bed and only 2 pillows. The plastic on the mattress under the sheet. The air conditioner was so loud every time it turned on it woke me up. I also did not like i was given instructions to turn everything off when I checked out. The parking stalls need to cleaner. It also took long to check in,the receptionist was using a tablet and took picture of my driver's licenses without asking

Horrible experience. If you want...

Disliked: They kept my $75 deposit because I unplugged the TV (there were about 6 plugs behind there that I unplugged) and he would have to re-set all of the surveillance they have in that room. They are definitely broadcasting people in their rooms. Awful place. Podophiles and criminals.

Not a hotel, but overall...

Liked: The customer service was good, seemed like they genuinely care. Parking was okay, I received my $75 deposit back within 1-2 days.
Disliked: The location is a bit sketchy, other tenants were a bit sketchy, but overall I had no issues. I do not like that it’s advertised on Booking as a hotel when it’s absolutely a motel. Both in name and appearance. This is false advertisement, and needs to be corrected.
