A charming hotel which could...

Liked: The location is fantastic for those who want to spend their time around the French Quarter - it is located in a quiet street, but both Bourbon Street and Frenchmen Street, as well as the Jackson Square tourist areas are within walking distance. The hotel is also pretty charming, and the staff is extremely friendly and not intrusive.
Disliked: The rooms could use some refurbishment - there are nicks and dents all over the furniture and the bathroom, and albeit the room was clean, it felt pretty run down. There is a damp smell (which I attribute to the vintage nature of the room, and the fact that it cannot be properly aired out). The A/C needs a lot of time to get used to, as it is extremely loud - and you will need the A/C on all time, especially in the summer, as it can get very hot and sticky without it.

Good

Liked: The hotel was a good price and in a great location. The room was basic but had everything you would need and was clean.
Disliked: Our door didn't feel the most secure and the hotel could do with a bit of sprucing up but it was perfectly fine for what we needed.
