Hôtel Villa Bohème

Would recommend this cosy hotel...

Liked: Great location, comfy bed, clean room, friendly staff. Perfect for what we needed!
Disliked: It was great!

Great stay

Liked: VERY well located and the staff was extremely nice. The bed was quite comfortable, and even though it was baking outside, the air conditioning in the room was spot on. Was in a quiet location and felt safe.

Would have enjoyed it more...

Liked: Location was great and Room 42 was quiet. Room & bathroom were fine, air conditioning was great. There was a small refrigerator. The staff carried our luggage to and from our room and were mostly friendly. The cleaning crew were extremely nice.
Disliked: The elevator did not work the entire time we were there (6 nights) and we had to walk up and down 4 flights of stairs in the heatwave (we are in our early 60s and fit, but the heat was unbearable); no compensation offered for this major inconvenience. Shower has some dirt or mold in the nooks and crannies which could use a deep cleaning. The sliding door on the shower kept coming off the track. Stubbed 3 toes on the step up into the bathroom because I forgot it was there. No door sign to tell housekeeping “Do not disturb” or “Make up the room”.

If not for the broken...

Liked: The location was excellent, it was generally quiet at night, the air conditioning worked great, each room had a small refrigerator, the cleaning staff was terrific. They upgraded one of our room so we could be on the same floor.
Disliked: The elevator was broken for the 6 nights that we stayed there and we had to walk up 4 flights of stairs. The staff kindly carried our luggage up and down when we left. No “Do Not Disturb” sign for the door

Liked: Loved the decor, and the feel of the hotel. The staff were very helpful.
Disliked: The safety box didn't work at first but after mentioning it to the receptionist it was fixed, so we geht that was good service.

Comfortable hotel.

Liked: Comfortable beds. Nice shower.
Disliked: You have to access the hotel by a gate with a code to get in and you have to push a button on the wall to open the gate to leave. A note regarding this before the stay would have been helpful. Balcony room was okay...just opens out to a courtyard. Nothing really to see from it so we didn't use it.This was our third hotel during our whole trip and it was the furthest from metro stations. No hand soap provided and the one bottle of shampoo/body wash in the shower was almost empty.
