Nice place. Room was nice and cozy.

Disliked: Lights were flickering a bit but it was ok.

Great location, small room, but...

Liked: Great location. small room, but very comfortable bed, pillow and nice blanket. Very surprised that a room at this price point in downtown had no mini fridge and no safebox.
Disliked: Would be nice to use a mini fridge for food and keep water chill, was 90 degree F while staying. Low pressure in shower, but has hot water. It's sufficient for a few days.

Liked: Convenient to everything and full of charm

Nice hotel

Liked: Nice room and comfy beds. Location is great too. We also enjoyed the breakfast on two of the mornings we stayed, which was lovely.
Disliked: The front door has a step up, then two sets of doors, so it was really awkward to get in with suitcases and a stroller. Not a very accessible front door.

really comfy stay right in...

Liked: Location was excellent, right in the middle of it all for walking all around downtown Toronto, lots of public transport options too. Hotel was quaint and had a boutique feel, recently renovated with attention to the charming, old style decor. Room was comfy, quiet and roomy, appreciated the smart TV & kettle, had all the necessary amenities so no complaints there.
Disliked: only one elevator but can't expect differently as it is an historical building. would have liked free breakfast option given the price was pretty high, but I think there was some event going on in Toronto during those days because the hotel prices were pretty expensive. shower was a little dated and rickety, could use an refurbishment.

Liked: Great boutique hotel un great location, CN Tower, Hockey Hall of Fame, Old Toronto and Ferry terminal all walkable. Good breakfast menu and served by .Misha. Historical building but with Modern rooms .Staff great and very helpful.Ticked all of oir boxes.
Disliked: View from our room, a wall.

Pleasant

Liked: Lobby was a great place to hang out, and the bed was comfortable.
Disliked: Room was quite dark. We also had a rv remote that only worked sporadically, if at all, and called up twice to have it fixed, but they didn't even have fresh batteries, so it never did work.

Disliked: You can hear the noise/conversations from the corridor in the room.

Lively hotel

Liked: Location was handy for the station. Lovely coffee on our fourth night at the bar.
Disliked: Where do I start...Noise on arrival from a function in the bar adjacent to reception meant we couldn't hear what the receptionist was saying. CAD 150 security room deposit taken from our account on arrival this has still to be refunded one week later...receptionist later told us this may not be refunded for up to 4 weeks as it was an international card...All other security deposits on our trip were only shown as pending and reversed within a few days of check out. The noise on our second night sounded like a 'night club' below us and we couldn't get to sleep. I complained at 2310 and it stopped around 2340. View from the room was of a wall and a flat roof with skylights. Will not be rushing back.
