Concert fans rave about Hotel Via’s unbeatable location—right across the street from Oracle Park and walking distance to major downtown venues like the Chase Center and the Fillmore. The hotel’s rooftop bar offers a pre- or post-show hangout spot with incredible views, and the 24-hour front desk makes late-night returns a breeze. The soundproofed rooms help keep the buzz of the city out when you need to wind down, and fast fiber optic WiFi means you can upload your concert pics in seconds.

Nightlife Options

If you’re not ready to call it a night after the encore, Hotel Via delivers. The rooftop bar is a favorite for its panoramic views, chill vibe, and solid drink list—including local craft cocktails. Travelers also appreciate the clean, quiet rooms and the strong, fast WiFi. Many note that it’s a great stay for anyone heading to a game or concert nearby.

Areas for Improvement

Some guests have noted that the rooms can feel a bit compact, especially if you're traveling with lots of luggage. Others mention that while the rooftop bar is amazing, it can get busy on game or concert nights—so arrive early to snag a spot!

A real let down

Disliked: I’ve stayed here before and it was great! I booked the room direct from the hotel, this time my husband went on line to book the room and evidently was turned over to a third party and our room was this tiny little box that you had to back up to turn around!! For the amount of money charged for your room, and the accommodations we received, well Luma Hotel is looking better and better.

Memorable and we’ll definitely be...

Liked: The hotel was conveniently located to Oracle park where my daughter’s college graduation was held. We didn’t have to worry about traffic because it was in walking distance and we had a nice family gathering at the rooftop of the hotel. Everything was perfect and left a lasting impression for my daughter’s college graduation experience.
Disliked: Only that momentarily the elevators went out in the building and we had to use the stairs. But it wasn’t a big deal, I used the opportunity to get my steps in :-)

Comfy and convenient for game...

Liked: This is the perfect hotel for games and events at Oracle Park. I love the valet parking and friendly staff.
Disliked: My room had a lingering smell of cologne from the previous tenants. Although I didn’t like the smell, it wasn’t a deal breaker and I didn’t complain to staff. Just a note to myself.
