Liked: Location and staff.
Disliked: The stairs are extremely steep and narrow—definitely not safe for young children or older adults. There’s no elevator, and the steps are very small. This could be dangerous for anyone with mobility issues.

Good

Liked: Helpful staff, good location, cleanliness, good Wi-Fi, electric kettle and hairdryer in the room, good value for money.
Disliked: Extremely narrow and steep stairs. Since I have little luggage and am a middle-aged person, this is fine. But I don't know how old people or travelers with huge suitcases climb up there. Room number 16 (under the roof) is very hot in summer. There is a fan, but it does not help much. At night, you need to sleep with the window open. However, when the window is open, it is noisy at night. The blanket is too thick for the summer months. The shower is not far from the room. However, the toilet is on the floor below - this is something new :-)

Good place to stay in...

Liked: It was close to tram station. Place was quite. Though there was no elevator/lift, the staff helped us to shift the luggages to and from the 2nd floor while check in & out times. Though the toilet was not attached to the room, it was closest to our room and was clean.
Disliked: The noise (alarm) that they have set when the door is open.

Exceptional

Liked: Comfortable and very friendly staff. Note that in summer, every Amsterdam hotel will be hot unless it's air conditioned. Fortunately it wasn't a heat wave during my stay and it was easy to sleep with the provided fan.

I enjoyed the homy feeling...

Liked: The location is near the museums and within walking distance of the center. There is a bus at the corner going to the airport. The staff is friendly and the hotel is very clean and quiet, with a small garden in the back. My room had an effective and quiet fan.
Disliked: The stairs are challenging - small and stiff, so they might not fit everyone. Room 16 (on the 3rd floor) has a toilet one flight below.

Calm but relatively central location...

Liked: Location (close to Van Gogh museum) and the employees are nice. The room was small but okay.
Disliked: No A/C available, however a fan was available in the room. The attic room has a external private shower but it got a bit flooded because the drain seems a bit clogged.

Superb

Liked: Everything was good the staff were so nice
Disliked: The rooms were small but it’s all good

Good value for Amsterdam for...

Liked: Compared to other accommodation and hotels in Amsterdam, this is relatively affordable. The rooms provide everything you might need and are quite spacious. They let us store our bags during the day after we checked out too.
