Liked: Excellent location, old fashioned functional hotel, family run, needing a bit tlc but decent value for money, staff friendly, clean towels every day, crisp sheets. Good breakfast. Old style electric socket so standard travel plug doesn’t work

Disliked: There was no hot water or WiFi!! When I reported it, the guy said I’m just a worker try leaving it on. I left it on for 5 mins and still no hot water. I checked out the next day even though room was paid for two nights, there was no way I would stay here again. It was more like a motel!

Liked: Excellently located near the centre, excellent staff, great coffee, very clean and comfortable rooms, but always ask for a room at the back (much quieter from the street that usually gets noisy until very late).
