Disliked: disruption of access because of repairs.no seating in our room to be able to see mirror or to write.sink was cracked

Liked: All very good except the water pressure for the shower which was very poor.

Excellent privately run hotel.

Liked: Very comfortable room and bed. Breakfast more than adequate and staff always cheerful and helpful. Lovely log fire in lounge and plenty of hot water!
Disliked: A bedside light would have been a plus as I like to read but could only do it with main overhead light on which was obviously not perfect. Something to do with having twin beds I think.

Lovely hotel

Liked: Lovely hotel. Beautiful old building with high ceilings, lots of character features and lovely decor. We were given a very warm friendly greeting on check in, and the staff were great throughout our stay. The room was comfortable and quiet, and well thought out. Bed was comfortable. Really liked the lounge and bar area, great for relaxing and enjoying a drink. Location is great, just a 10 mins walk into the centre of Truro. Good value. Would definitely stay again.
Disliked: Would have liked there to be a proper cooked breakfast on offer, although the continental breakfast was very good quality.

Pleasant but can be better

Disliked: The room was not well cleaned. A lot of the surfaces had dust on them.
