Creepy attic quarters very cramped

Liked: The entrance was beautiful
Disliked: We were given the “attic closet” room, up two very steep and winding staircases in the building behind the nice one. Entrance was a black hallway, poorly lit, could hear everything, and the two of us couldn’t even walk in the room at the same time it was so small! My daughter had to crawl over me to use the bathroom and no storage - it was literally the attic and seemed to be the size of a camper bedroom. Super disappointing it costed the same as a regular room.

Passable

Liked: Location was very good. Reception staff were nice. Room cleaned daily with fresh sheets and towels
Disliked: The rooms were too small and bed very uncomfortable. Breakfast did not have hot options more continental style.

Disappointing and tired decor.

Liked: The location. The staff were friendly.
Disliked: The room was tired and in need of an update. The location of the room on the third floor, was reached by a steep and narrow spiral staircases that we had not be for-warned about. The body wash in the shower was empty. There were no cups for the tea and coffee supplies. The shower pan leaked all over the bathroom floor.

Good location, poorly managed hotel

Liked: Location, friendly staff
Disliked: The shower drain was blocked, the issue remained unsolved despite the fact that it was addressed several times

Comfortable enough for a night...

Liked: The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and they always had a smile and advice about travel etc The bed was really comfortable.
Disliked: The hotel wasn't clean enough. It looked like the corridors and stairways hadn't been hoovered in a long time and my room had chips and marks over the walls and the flooring was shabby. The open cupboard looked like a cheap MDF unit with no hang space for suits or dresses and the "desk" was too high up to use with any of the chairs. Bathroom was ok. The room was tiny - I didn't mind that because I was only there for a night but there was nowhere to store my overnight bag so if you were staying for longer than 1 night you'd be better off somewhere else.
