Would only stay here if...

Liked: We liked the view of the street, that's about it.
Disliked: The bathroom was tiny, the windows didn't have a screen so if I opened the window for it to cool down the room, bugs were flying in. The room had an open closet which doesn't look very nice. The place is 100% not Air conditioned, and on a hot weekend 96 degrees, it was a terrible place to stay. We had to leave the next day to a different hotel that offered a nicer room with AC.

A nice hotel but basement...

Liked: The upgrade room was lovely and spacious. The reception area is very inviting. Location is good and close to tram stops for easy access.
Disliked: Initially started off in a basement room which I do not recommend. A member of staff was quite off with us and not overly helpful, especially when we had had an arduous journey, however we spoke with Diane the manager who was lovely and upgraded our stay which we were very grateful for.

Very disappointed

Liked: The two ladies who assisted us at the reception were very kind and sweet, definitely the highlight of our experience here.
Disliked: The room was not what we saw in the pictures, definitely not worth the price. It was very small and uncomfortable, and we were quite disappointed. We felt disled. The shower and bathroom felt like a game of Tetris. Additionally, the cleaning lady was shouting in the corridor for two hours in the morning 9-11am (at first we thought it was another guest), and when we stepped out, we realized it was her. It was very disturbing and disrespectful.

Pleasant

Liked: Beautiful room, fair breakfast (considering the dutch style, it was rather on the variety side), wellcome drink, courtesy snacks, but...
Disliked: .... Poor soundproofing, lack of interest, compassion and empathy on the personnel side with regard to issues concerning noisy neighbours (throwing a midnight party...and also noisy staff, speaking loud, throwing a morning party right across our room... They had some security facility to oversee and each morning they came to do what they were supposed to do, from 7am... Meanwhile, speaking very loudly and laughing, and so on, right in front of our no-soundproof door)

We had a really lovely...

Liked: Loved the staff - everyone was really lovely and friendly and happy and helpful and they made the stay feel really nice!
Disliked: The rooms were so small. I understand that the square footage was all in the room descriptions, so we knew sizes up front. Just did still feel really cramped!
