Liked: The design and decor were amazing! The room had so much character! It was a perfect location close to Amstel Station! This will be my go to when in Amsterdam. The staff was so kind and helpful, too! Cannot say enough great things! Close to central station, about 7 min ride, by use of Amstel station and only about 20 from Schiphol! Stay here! You will not be disappointed!

Stayed one night because we...
Liked: Beautiful hotel with industrial design. The rooms are spacious, light, and very comfortable. The restaurant, bar and terrace on the ground floor are very convenient. The staff are so friendly, super welcoming and very helpful!!
Disliked: There was an unpleasant smell coming from the sink, shower and toilet in the bathroom. But did not travel to the room as long as we kept the bathroom door closed.

Beautiful retro hotel
Liked: The hotel has beautiful interior , I really loved the interior and colours . It’s very quiet and has a nice outdoor terrace . The staff are very friendly and accommodating . The room was prob the biggest I have ever had in Amsterdam
Disliked: I come to Amsterdam regularly but has never stayed in Amstel . Even if it’s a short train ride away from the centre it felt quite disconnected . The hotel is beautiful but for the price quite basic as no gym and one restaurant/ bar area . The bed was way too hard. for my liking .
